πŸ‡πŸŒΊ Easy Easter Egg Hunt and Basket Ideas 🌺 πŸ‡

Hello Reader,

Are you a procrastinator? Has it changed over time? Like maybe you used to be a procrastinator, and now you're not, or you weren't, but now you are?
I am not a procrastinator. I like to do things well in advance, and then not have to stress and worry over deadlines. One of the reasons I need to do this, is otherwise I will forget about it! And.... I'm a very visual person. So if I walk past something and see it, then I need to take care of it then, because if I don't walk past it again until much later-- well, then it will be annoying to see that I forgot about it. And the older I get.... the more forgetful I am!

Now, I do still procrastinate about certain things--- like cleaning the bathroom or the kitchen floor. Pretty much cleaning anything...... And I prefer to do actual physical tasks, (like laundry!) than computer or digital tasks like photo organization. Do you know anyone else who doesn't mind doing laundry? I'm always hearing about people who hate to do mounds of laundry---- but I don't have mounds because I manage mine.... and by manage, I mean--- my whole family helps take care of their laundry. I don't fold or put anyone else's laundry away but my own, and the towels. And a year or so ago, I started having my teens wash their own laundry, too.

I think some people think they are procrastinating, when really they have changed in what they like to spend their time on. So instead of labeling it procrastinating, they can admit that they simply don't like doing something anymore, and now they like doing other things instead.

Well, it's time to share these Easter Ideas!

And one more-- Silly Egg Hunt Activity Cards.

Back to the procrastinating topic-- it makes me happy when I see my kids NOT procrastinate in their chores or instrument practice. It just seems natural for kids to want to procrastinate in their daily chores, doesn't it? And then it shows some growth and maturity when they stop procrastinating and take some initiative.

Well until next time.....

Warmly,
Liberty

Hello Reader, As you realize, Mother's Day can bring strong feelings of all sorts.... sadness for those who long to be mothers and aren't, reminiscing for happy memories of mothers long gone, and happiness and excitement for expectant mothers-- plus many more situations. Obviously, none of us would be here without our mothers! A couple years ago, I wrote about Solomon's mother. This year I'm writing about another woman who also happens to be one of King David's wives. Not much is known about...

Hello Reader, School will soon be out! It's a little bittersweet this year for me, as it is the last year homeschooling my son. He has been accepted into a local vo-tech school for highschool in the fall, and we're looking forward to all that he is going to learn there!Once again, I've joined up with some blogger friends to bring you some new and different ideas. This time they are gift ideas for Mother's Day. I hope you (and your mothers!) like them. And they would work great for birthday...

chocolate piano

Hello Reader, You may know that I am also a piano teacher. It is a big part of my identity in real life. (Not that what is online isn't real.... well, you know what I mean.) I am also a homeschool mom/ teacher. Although truth be told, I'm nearing the end of that season in just 2 years! Wow!I think all moms are teachers. And aunts can be teachers, too. Grandmas have a special opportunity to teach their grandkids, without the responsibility attached to parenting. So whether you have students in...
