🌻 Hi from Liberty 🌻 "Making Hard Things Easier"

Hello Reader,

I hope you had a good summer! It got so humid here that my laptop died. I want to write a post about how I revived it. I had the idea to put it in a giant ziplock bag of rice-- you know, like you can try if you drop your cell phone in water, to dry it out? Well, after 24 hours my laptop did not turn back on. After 36 hours it would not turn back on. But after 48 hours it turned back on!!! I was thrilled!! Now I keep a good eye on the humidity, and store my laptop turned off in a bag of rice when it's too humid. And I haven't had any more problems!

I recently realized that I have been blogging for nearly 6 years! How many years have you been reading my updates? Reply and let me know-- I'm curious. : )

I also recently realized that my website needs an update-- not just to be nice looking, but because of functionality and because some of the backend stuff is obsolete. I'm not sure when I will complete it, but I'm looking forward to it.

I've given 18 monthly updates of our renovations at Century Farms, along with videos! I did take a 19th month video and just haven't posted it yet. And the 20th got skipped because we were on vacation.... Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting back to posting more of my seasonal decor ideas and other posts.

Well, in case you hadn't heard, I haven't been able to do any projects lately because a week ago I had to have my appendix out. And Yikes-- appendicitis is painful! A 20 on a scale of 1-10! I'm recovering, but still moving slowly...

I have a couple of Fall projects I want to work on. Mostly I've been working on keeping up with regular household chores like cleaning and laundry and -- well-- garden produce. We've gotten a lot of tomatoes, a lot of watermelon, and some okra. And now homeschooling has started..... and I have 10 piano students.

I really did want to write and let you know I haven't forgotten about you! I've been working on collaborations and hosting a blogger group once a month-- we're always learning new things. And I actually have a Christmas thing I need to do soon so I can get the pictures and video done in plenty of time....

If you want to support me, the best thing you can do for a blogger like me is to simply share one of your favorite posts of mine on your social media, so that more people can enjoy my great ideas. Thank you!

Well, that's all for now. I hope you have a great week!

Warmly,

Liberty

Hello Reader, How are you doing? Guess what?! I just learned about YouTube Premieres. Don't you enjoy learning new things? It works like this. I've set the video about our 2 Year Anniversary to "Premiere" tomorrow (Wednesday) at 1 p.m. EST. And when it goes live, we will have a Watch Party and be able to talk in the Comments together! Doesn't that sound fun??? I'm really looking forward to it as this is the first time I've done something like this. I hope to "see" you there tomorrow! (To make...

Hello Reader, I hope you've had a good start to your New Year, and that whatever colds or germs have been plaguing you have gone away!Sometimes I write a new post and forget to send it to you.... That happened just before Christmas! You see, I was busy working on our 1st floor bathroom, and cleaning and organizing for our 2nd year anniversary at Century Farms! I was also cleaning for company that was coming. Then it rained and was flooding into the basement, and that started a series of...

Hello Reader, Is Christmas sneaking up on you? Or maybe there's someone that you just haven't decided what to get them yet? I have an idea for you! I just found out about Christian Craft Paper company. They have a couple different monthly clubs you can join-- and one is a napkin club!! Wow! [These are extra special napkins that they have printed just for them.] So for the gift idea-- you can send a crafty person a subscription to either the napkin club or the project club (which includes the...
